At ULI San Diego/Tijuana, we know you have come to expect programs that consistently provide balanced and timely information on the issues that affect our industry and our quality of life. So we responded this year by hosting 23 events revolving around education, networking and recognition of outstanding efforts in sustainable development.

Next year, we have more programs and special events planned! Annual Sponsorship of ULI San Diego/Tijuana is the engine that provides the fuel for these efforts. • Developed a monthly ULI @ Lunch program focused on technical education like LEED certification and Land Purchase Agreements.

• Rolled out the San Diego Technical Advisory Panels or TAPs where we provide expert land use input to local nonprofits organizations and municipalities.

• Hired a full time executive director which provides us with the ability to further carry out our mission of developing leaders in the responsible use of land and promoting the creation of sustainable thriving communities.

• Set up a ULI office in Downtown San Diego.

• Totally revamped the ULI San Diego/Tijuana website - www.ulisd.org.

• Celebrated our 3rd Annual Smart Growth Awards.

• Coordinated the 5th Annual Real Estate Trends Conference - the Dollars, Sense and Leadership of Sustainability, on November 13th, 2007.

• Continued to develop our ever growing Young Leaders program.

• Created a Bi-national Mayor's Forum focused on the sustainable future of San Diego.

• Created a Sponsorship Advisory Committee which meets four times a year to give input on the direction of ULI San Diego/Tijuana.

Our sponsors receive complimentary guest passes to our highly popular Second Tuesday breakfast events, memberships in ULI and Young Leaders, name recognition at all meetings, a listing on the ULI San Diego website, display space for company literature at ULI events and a mention on all program flyers distributed to 3,000 real estate professionals.
