Panelists focus on renewable energy for U.S. and Mexico

 

A panel talk on "Renewable Energy: A Binational Reality," will be presented July 7 under the sponsorship of the Urband Land Institute San Diego/Tijuana. It will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the University Club,

As a clean energy future becomes a priority for both the governments of the and , the two countries are establishing a bilateral framework on clean energy and climate change. Panelists include Alberto Abreu, director, project development, Sempra Generation; Federico Ruanova, partner, environmental law, Baker & McKenzie, Tijuana; Cecilia Aguillon, director, market development and government relations, Kyocera Solar Inc.; and David Muñoz, director, State of Baja California Energy Commission . Jeremy Martin, director of the energy program for the Institute of the , will serve as the moderator.
